The Mathrubhumi E-paper website and mobile apps are operated by The
Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Company Limited. MATHRUBHUMI is
registered as a company in India with a limited liability and has its registered
office at Mathrubhumi Building, KP Kesava Menon Road, Kozhikode, Kerala State,
India.
This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act,
2000 (“IT Act”) and subsequent amendments, the rules thereunder as applicable,
and the provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended
by the IT Act. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does
not require any physical or digital signatures.
This document together with Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of
Mathrubhumi.com and Refund Policy as well as subscription details such as
pricing tables and any other legal notices published by Mathrubhumi on the E-
paper website, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and
Mathrubhumi concerning the E-paper and governs your use of the Service and
use of the E-paper, superseding any prior agreements between you and
Mathrubhumi with respect to the subject matter covered in this agreement.
This document governs your acquisition and use of our E-paper website and apps
by subscription or free trial.
You ("the user") can access or subscribe epaper.mathrubhumi.com ("E-paper")
only for your personal use, subject to this agreement, as changed/updated from
time to time entirely at the discretion of The Mathrubhumi Printing and
Publishing Company Limited. This Agreement is for an indefinite term and you
understand and agree to the terms till the time you access this site.
By accepting this agreement, either by clicking a box indicating your acceptance
or by executing this agreement or an order form that references this agreement,
you agree to the terms of this agreement.
You acknowledge that Mathrubhumi is providing you with a revocable, limited,
non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the features of the E-paper
website and the App.
When you register, you are registering as a personal user of
epaper.mathrubhumi.com. Access to registration areas is via your email address
and password. You agree that you will keep your user name and/or password
confidential and will not share this information with any third party. You also
agree that you will not register multiple email addresses.
If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with the terms and
conditions, we may, at our discretion, cancel your access to the registration areas
of epaper.mathrubhumi.com and without giving any advance notice.
Mathrubhumi will make the E-paper available to you without charge until the
earlier of (a) the end of the period for which you registered to use the E-paper
without payment, (b) the start date of any subscription you enter into to pay for
the E-paper, or (c) termination by Mathrubhumi at any time in its sole discretion.
The cost of your subscription will be made clear to you on our sign-up page and may vary from time to time or by country. You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase one of our subscription packs. If you later request us to change your subscription, you agree to pay the new pack price set out in your change confirmation email. Your subscription will start immediately upon payment. The terms that govern your minimum and continuing subscription with us will vary depending on which membership pack you chose under the offer advertised. Mathrubhumi may offer a number of types of subscriptions, including special promotions. Any materially different terms from those described in this agreement will be disclosed at the time of purchase or in other communications made available to you. You can find specific details regarding your subscription logging-in to E-paper website and clicking on the “My Subscription” link. We reserve the right to change or terminate any offered subscriptions or promotions at any time. Access to past issues is limited to a maximum of 60 days from current date. Access to all issues of a subscribed edition ceases once the term of subscription of that edition ended and not duly renewed by paying the required sum. Access to archives is limited to the particular issue subscribed for and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Payment can be made using all major credit or debit cards issued in India and through net banking. Any payment or subscription paid is non-refundable. We reserve the right to change subscription fees any time without prior notice.
You are permitted to print or download extracts from these pages for your
personal non-commercial use only. Any copy of these pages saved to disk or to
any other storage medium may only be used for subsequent viewing purposes or
to print extracts for personal use. You may not (whether directly or through the
use of any software program) create a database in electronic or structured
manual form by regularly or systematically downloading and storing all or any
part of the pages from this site. No part of the Site may be reproduced or
transmitted to or stored in any other web site, or any of its pages or part thereof
be disseminated in any electronic or non-electronic form, or included in any
public or private electronic retrieval system or service without prior written
permission.
The contents of this E-paper are proprietary and should not be shared with
anyone. This condition does not apply for sharing individual articles on social
media websites for the purpose of initiating discussions and expressing opinions.
It is your responsibility to check that the computer or device you plan to use to
access the subscription is compatible with the minimum specification
requirement that relates to the subscription you are opting for. You acknowledge
and accept that Mathrubhumi cannot be held responsible for any technical
problems with any systems, computers or devices you encounter following the
commencement of the subscription.

browsers may or may not be supported. JavaScript, Cookies and Pop-up

Minimum Internet Speed: 2 Mbps
Recommended Internet Speed: 4 Mbps
Mathrubhumi does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the
subscription. Mathrubhumi is not obliged to offer you any technical support in
relation to your subscription other than the specific support that has been
included as part of the subscription plan you have opted for. You also accept and
acknowledge that Mathrubhumi cannot be held responsible for any delay or
disruptions to your subscription as a result of such suspension or any of the
following but not limited to: the operation of the internet and the World Wide
Web, including but not limited to viruses; any firewall restrictions that have been
placed on your network or the computer you are using to access the E-paper;
failures of telecommunications links and equipment; or updated browser issues;
not meeting any of the minimum system requirements as defined in clause 9.
This agreement shall remain in full force and effect for so long as you use E-paper.
You may terminate your subscription at any time, for any reason, by contacting
the Support channels. Mathrubhumi however does not offer any refunds because
of your termination or discontinuation of the services. Any termination or
subscription modifications initiated by you are subject to the Refund Policy.
Mathrubhumi reserves the right to terminate your services without prior notice.
Your account or your access to E-paper maybe terminated immediately, with or
without notice to you, and without liability to you, if Mathrubhumi believes that
you have breached any of covenants, conditions, restrictions or limitations
contained in these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, or any false or misleading
information, or interfered with use of Mathrubhumi by others.
By purchasing a subscription and/or registering for free trial, you consent to
receive notices, disclosures, agreements, policies, receipts, confirmations,
transaction information, account information, other communications, and
changes or updates to any such documents electronically (collectively, the
“Electronic Communications”). We will provide these Electronic Communications
by emailing them to your email address associated with your registration. You
agree that the Electronic Communications will satisfy any legal communication
requirements, including that such communications be in writing. Electronic
Communications will be deemed received by you within 24 hours of the time
emailed to you unless we receive notice that the email was not delivered. You
confirm that you have access to the necessary equipment and are able to receive,
open, print, or store Electronic Communications.
It is your responsibility to keep your email address up to date. You agree that
Electronic Communications sent to an email address that is incorrect, out of date,
blocked by your service provider, or cannot be received due to your failure to
maintain the system requirements, will be deemed to have been provided to you.
If an Electronic Communication is returned to us because an email address
becomes invalid, we may deem your subscription to be inactive, and you will not
be able to use the E-paper until we receive a valid, working email address from
you.
